The Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition will include the base game, as well as the Scorched Earth and Aberration expansion packs. The Scorched Earth expansion adds a new map on the original Ark map and an additional biome, bringing the total biomes to four. The Aberration expansion adds a new PvP mode, a new PvE mode, and a new story-driven campaign, bringing the total campaign-driven story-driven content to two. The Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition is available for pre-order now, and will launch on Nintendo Switch this September.
While the original Ark: Survival Evolved is coming to Nintendo Switch, it seems that the game will be receiving a graphical update as well, as Wildcard announced that they have hired a new studio to work on this update. However, if you already have the regular version of Ark on Switch, you'll be able to download an update that refreshes the game's graphics and more. This will be coming to all Nintendo Switch owners that currently own the regular version of Ark, not just those that bought the Ultimate Edition, so keep an eye out for that in the future. the same group that worked on the first-person perspective games for the Forza series. it seems that the franchise has expanded its reach, with an animated series in the works, including Ark II starring Vin Diesel.
